Variations on a Blemish is an ongoing collection featuring no-input mixer and other feedback devices. At times there are other instruments, sometimes not. These long form pieces are a break from the heavily edited and sculpted material that occupy my album work and were approached with an intuitive, instinctual mindset.

Each piece attempts to embrace time as it is in this odd, terrifying era: elastic and illusory. Patterns recur, elapse, fall, and renew. And many times things just end.

This collection precedes two side-long compositions that use similar instruments and tools in more composed and dynamic format that I have been working on during the past few years. It is an album comprised of strings, feedback and sine waves that may or may not ever be released.
